Little Sparkles is our toddler area. It is a vibrant room full of busy activities and fun in an environment planned to stimulate interest and curiosity. It also has its own outdoor area to explore with our team.
Our practitioners are friendly, caring, professional and have a real passion for childcare. With their own Key Person, children continue to receive a lot of attention and individual care from our team of dedicated and experienced staff allowing them to flourish, be happy, confident and enjoy themselves.
The day is planned to ensure there’s a wealth of opportunity for children’s developmental needs and opportunity to explore environments using a rich variety of activities and resources such as messy play, craft, heuristic and free play both indoors and outside. There is time for the children to sit with practitioners and friends, listen to familiar stories and enjoy singing and action songs. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is embedded in everything we do throughout the day.
Play underpins all learning at Jubilee Gems and the children in Little Sparkles develop their creativity, language, emotional and social skills in this way. It's hugely important that learning is fun in the early years. Children use playthings in numerous ways and we are there to observe, support and extend their play to encourage every aspect of growth and development. Children’s experiences are rich, varied and imaginative. Activities are a combination of adult and child-led enabling children to lead play and explore their own ideas.
