With lockdown upon us and not being able to see loved ones, what better way to spread some cheer than by sending ‘happy post’.
Supported by their early years teacher, the children used their personal, social and emotional skills to talk about their family, friends and loved ones.
They were encouraged to talk about how they feel when they see them and how they will feel when they receive their ‘happy post’.
Using their physical and literacy skills, along with their creative imaginations, the children created heart-warming pictures and letters.
Once completed, they placed a stamp on their post and enjoyed walking to the nursery’s local post box to post their letters.
"We really hope that our friends and family are excited to receive our letters and drawings and can’t wait to receive some of our own happy post replies from the postman. Keep smiling – From everyone at Jubilee Gems.”
