The Government are now encouraging all eligible children of key workers to attend nursery and school settings, it is no longer necessary for parents of eligible children to keep them at home if they can. If you fall into the key worker category and require childcare earlier than the 1st of June, please let us know so we can begin arranging our staffing accordingly.
From of the 1st of June, after the May half term, children of non-key workers will also be able to re-join the setting should parents require. However, the Department of Education have set out protective guidelines which effect room sizes, minimising contact and mixing of groups and prioritises children of ages 3 to 4. This may limit our immediate availability and is subject to Government and Department for Education controls.
If you are requiring childcare from the 1st of June, please let us know your estimated start date and the sessions you may require so we can begin putting our plans into action.
We are proud of Jubilee Gem’s ability to be incredibly flexible with the timings of childcare requirements. However, due to heightened infection control at this time, we will be requiring all children attending to be dropped off no later than 9.00 am. We will also be requiring a two-phase collection, afternoon collections will need to be between 1.00pm and 2.00pm and for evening collections from 4.00pm. Details on drop off and collection procedures will follow.
Your child’s attendance is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation following your request.
As always, we will continue to keep you updated and inform you of any changes. We look forward to welcoming back the children and hope to see you all soon.
